Guides
Straight answers to the questions people actually ask before booking guitar lessons.
The questions I hear most often come before anyone has picked up a guitar: what lessons cost, whether a child is old enough to start, whether it is too late to begin as an adult, and what actually happens in a first lesson. These guides answer those questions in full — with real prices, realistic timescales and the honest caveats — rather than asking you to fill in a form to find out.
They are written from teaching in Enfield, Southgate and across North London, so the prices and examples reflect what things cost here rather than a national average. Where a guide quotes a figure, it says where the figure came from and when it was checked, because prices move and a number without a date is not much use to anyone.
If your question is not answered below, ask me directly — I would far rather tell you that lessons are not the right fit than sell you something that is not.
